I'm April, a 30's something introvert behind all the musings here on Awkwardly April! I currently reside in Atlanta. I’m such a country girl at heart. I'm very passionate about all things creative. I love to write! Most people don't know that I'm an artist, my favorite past time is painting, drawing and building things! I also do a bit of freelance graphic art. I love Natural Hair, I’m obsessed with owls and I enjoy giving back when I can. I'm very eclectic, I love all types of music and I live life by the beat of my own drum. I love shopping and being pampered, some call me "spoiled" ^_^ I can be very silly and I love to laugh. I enjoy my own company. I try to find beauty in everyone and everything. I believe in love and everything that goes along with it. I believe that I was born with a purpose, so I do my best to live life on purpose. I’m just a free spirited southern girl, on my journey through life.
