Some of Moroccanoil's benefits include:
-Softens thick and unmanageable hair
-Restores shine and softness to dull, lifeless hair
-Strengthens brittle hair
-Promotes healing and provides nourishment to hair damaged by coloring and styling
-Protects against UV damage and other environmental factors
-Reduces drying time and speeds up styling time
The oil is really rich and almost reminds me of a syrup but it's not sticky.
Glow: I really love the smell and the fact that it's pleasant but not at all overwhelming. The consistency of the oil is really rich and highly concentrated so you only need a small amount, it goes a long way. Per the directions, I applied a small amount to my damp hair post shampooing & conditioning and just as it claims it indeed absorbed quickly! Also, I have naturally oily hair so I'm always hesitant about the types of oils & moisturizers I put in it, I was pleased that it did not weigh my hair down at all. I still had a lot of body and my hair was soft, shiny and silky!
Glare: *whispers* I wish the bottle was bigger!
Would I Recommend It? OMG! Yes! Yes! and YES! I'm not over exaggerating I've really fell in LOVE with this stuff lol.
Overall Glam: I was initially introduced to Moroccanoil a few months ago when my beautician used it on me. I loved it then as well but you know how your hair never seems to turn out the same when you attempt to do it yourself? Well lets just say I am IMPRESSED! Moroccanoil retails at $40.80 so it's not exactly what most would call "affordable" but from my experience with it I definitely think it's worth it. It's a price I'd be willing to pay being that you only need a little and because I don't straighten my hair that often so I think it would last a pretty long time in my favor.
Moroccanoil is available exclusively in professional salons. But be cautious because like most in demand products there are replicas of it all over the internet. So just be aware that when you purchase products from unauthorized dealers such as Ebay, Amazon etc. you're also taking the risk that it may indeed be counterfeited and/or diverted products that are not protected by the company's warranty.
